It an IEEE student branch in UVCE under the aegis of IEEE Bangalore Section.This branch was revived in 2001. Their objective stands as astute commitment to the cause of furthering the dissemination of knowledge which is reflected by the gamut of activities organized.

The IEEE Student members are provided with opportunities to attend global and national IEEE workshops, symposiums, guest lectures in trending technological fields and existing engineering knowledge, and conferences. IEEE UVCE shelters the various technical interests of students having pioneered a cluster of clubs or interest groups to provide guidance and a nurturing platform to students.

To name few of the special interest groups are
Varchas (Astronomy), Ncode (Coding), Vidyut(Electrical), Robotics, Ripples, Art Forum and Literary Club. Women in Engineering (WIE) is a wing of IEEE UVCE that was pioneered in correspondence to its Global counterpart to encourage women in the technical domain and to transform them into innovative engineers. Student Teacher and Research Engineer (STAR) Program is a social responsibility intuitive followed at IEEE UVCE which aims at educating and mentoring school students with engineering skill.

ADHAMYA

Adhamya meaning infinity or the endless, is a common roof for the functioning of all the cultural clubs that were earlier working independently in UVCE.

Adhamya aims at providing the platform required for seamless working and engagement of these clubs with the crowd of UVCE. From Alumni, to Faculty and most importantly Students, all are welcome to be a significant part of the new buzz of UVCE.

MARVEL

Makerspace for Advanced Research, Vital Education and Learning or simply, MARVEL at University Visvesvaraya College of Engineering is being set up at the KR Circle campus with support from the UVCE Graduates Association. Having a determined aim in mind, we hope to turn UVCE into a hub of research and innovation through MARVEL, with encouragement from the college.

MARVEL is poised to spur genuine passion in every learner, inspire decisive action, and redefine conventional education. The goal of MARVEL is to set the ball rolling, perpetuate a sense of innovation in students and help them eventually birth ground-breaking ideas that will change the world.

E-Cell

The Entrepreneurship Cell of UVCE, commonly known as E-Cell UVCE, has been established with the objective of creating, fostering and promoting the spirit of entrepreneurship among the students of UVCE. It wants not only to ignite the minds but also to nurture the ideas of some of the most talented students of India.

E-Cell UVCE is committed to build a strong platform for the budding entrepreneurs. The vision is to guide the students to take entrepreneurship as a career, as a path to success and as a journey of wisdom.

VisionUVCE is a group of UVCE alumni who are focussed on 'Giving Back to UVCE' by creating awareness among the strong alumni and make them understand the potential that the creation of an alumni group, working for the betterment of college brings about.

It is VU's responsibility to make sure, the flag of our alma mater flies high in the air and also as proud alumni of this college, there is a need to take part in the operations involved with the institution.

Major programs held under Vision UVCE:

1. Sampada A monthly magazine that offers you a ride though UVCE
2. Parichaya - A detailed profile of UVCE great alumni
3. Samvaada - Occasional meet between alumns , current staff and students
4. VU Scholarship - Every year scholarships are provided to those in need
5. VU Champs - Recognition of efforts of student volunteers .

UVCE Graduate Association was established with the mission to reach and engage UVCE Graduates, faculty and students, to provide goodwill and support, to achieve the institution's goals and spread the spirit of unity and loyalty among UVCE community. Objectives of the association:

• To support the institution - University Visvesvaraya College of Engineering to achieve its goals

• To foster the pride of being a part of UVCE in every graduating student by becoming member of the UVCE Graduates Association.

• Engage UVCE graduates, faculty and students for achieving the mission of the Association

• To provide a sustaining system that would disseminate transparency in all matters pertaining to finance, accounts and administration of the Association.

• To seek canvas and receive assistance, in cash or in kind, by way of endowment, patronage, sponsorship, gifts or donations of materials, assets and properties in the name of UVCE Graduates Association, from Alumni which will enable the Association carry out any or all of the above activities and to fulfil its objectives.
